What is lot size?
In Forex trading, "lot size" is a key term that defines the scale of the trade, or the number of currency units to be bought or sold in the transaction. One Standard lot is equal to 100,000 units of the base currency.
Most brokers allow trading lot sizes to go as low as 0.01, or even lower. These small lot sizes are sometimes referred to as Mini lot, Micro lot, and Nano lot.
